Prada and Adidas Unveils Their Adidas Superstar and Bowling Bag Design

Only 700 sets will be available for purchase

After a series of teasers, Prada and Adidas have now formally unveiled their unprecedented collaboration.

The Adidas Superstar sneakers and bowling bag are created by Prada in Italy. The sneaker features the iconic rubber shell toe and matching rubber cupsole, and premium full-grain leather design. Co-branding can be seen on the tongue, along with the recognizable branding of Prada printed above the “MADE IN ITALY” debossing on the lateral side, Trefoil logos on the rear side and a production serial number debossing on the medial side of the sneaker.

 

The release also includes a Prada x Adidas bowling bag, made with calf leather and has a sports nylon strap. The bag’s frame features Prada and Adidas Originals logos and also the production serial number.

The Adidas Superstar sneakers and bowling bag are in “Optic” white with black detailing. The supply is limited to 700 pieces only.

 

The Adidas Superstar and bowling bag will be on retail online through both Adidas and Prada online stores and at selected Prada stores worldwide on the 4th of December 2019.

The Adidas Superstar has been produced in France and Germany in the course of its 50-year history. Initially launched as an on-court basketball shoe in 1969, the Adidas Superstar was endorsed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, but later became a cultural icon thanks to RUN DMC and the landmark song “My Adidas.” 2020 marks the famous sneakers ‘ 50th anniversary. The iconic sneakers have been and re-interpreted by musicians, celebrities, and retailers.
