The Force is Strong in these Adidas x Star Wars Collabs!

The hype for these kicks reaches galaxies far, far away.

The release of Star Wars: Rise of The Skywalker is perhaps the biggest event of the year for many people. To build the hype further, Adidas is planning to release several sneakers that will keep the saga imprinted on the minds forever.

The first in line is the Adidas Ultra Boost in its more recent “S&L” trim. It comes with blueprint-like details of the X-Wing Starfighter that is imposed onto the heel-counter as well as the white Boost sole. The Star Wars-inspired sneaker also has co-branded tongues and special insoles. Two special things worth noticing are the symbol of the Jedi order placed around the shoe and the presence of the empowering quote of the Star Wars Universe “The Force Will Be with You Always” on the heel-stripe.

When it comes to Star Wars, no one can forget Han Solo, not even Adidas. To pay homage to the dead hero and his loved spaceship, Millennium Falcon, Adidas has honoured them with the soon to be launched iteration of Ultra Boost 2019. Primeknit uppers take on a two-toned white and grey colour scheme. They also feature cool blue hits that are applied on the heel moulds and the tongues. They allude to the hyperdrive motion streaks that are shown when the disc-shaped spacecraft jumps into lightspeed to get away from enemies of the Sith order.

The middle soles are interesting too as they have an etching of spaceship applied in blueprint fashion that is quite like the X-Wing Ultra Boosts. The addition of Han Solo’s popular quote from Empire Strikes Back, “Never Tell Me the Odds” on the heels is quite cool too. The theme is further enhanced with the Rebel Alliance branded dubraes and lace tips.

Last on the list of sneakers dedicated to the Star Wars Saga is Adidas AlphaEdge 4D that pays homage to the Death Star. The dark colour is present across the Primeknit upper, and the midsole is 4D printed. The Death Star decals can be seen on heel panels and eyelets. The last noticeable addition is the text “The Power of The Dark Side” which runs up the back-heel tag.
