As they say “All Good Things Come to an End” and it’s time for the Star Wars Saga to have a conclusion with the release of Star Wars Episode 9. The beginning of the end has started as Lucasfilm just released the final Star Wars trailer for the film, sooner than fans expected.

 

Following the path laid out by Marvel, Disney has put together a secretive marketing campaign for the latest Star Wars film. Marvel did the same at the time of the release of Avengers: Endgame. Talking about similarities, did you know that Kevin Feige, the Marvel boss might make a Star Wars film in the future?

The final Star Wars trailer was dropped suddenly during ESPN’s Monday Night Football match between the New York Jets and New England Patriots. It confirms what all Star Wars film fans already know; there will be an epic battle between Resistance and the First Order and between Kylo Ren and Rey. In the trailer, she claims that no one knows her while he says he does. A few snatches of their lightsabre fight are also shown.

 

Fans are hoping that this final film would offer a meaningful end to the Skywalker Saga that has entertained people over more than 40 years. Talking about it, the director J.J. Abrams said “We went into this thing knowing it has to be an ending. We’re not screwing around.”

The Rise of Skywalker is the most anticipated film of the year for Star Wars fans who are also hyped up for the Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, which will come out next month. The film will pick up a year after the events of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Many familiar faces like Finn, Poe Dameron, BB-8. Princess Leia and C-3PO will be there in the film. They will be seen gathering the good ones against the First Order.

 

The final Star Wars trailer shows the return of Ian McDiarmid’s Palpatine who has been planning something all this time and Billy Dee Williams’ Lando Calrissian who was last seen allowing Solo to fly the Falcon which is currently in The Resistance’ possession.  

The most touching part in the final Star Wars trailer is C-3PO’s tearful farewell as he knows he is dying and tries to see his friends’ faces one last time. It also prepares fans for some expected deaths in the movie.

 

The final Star Wars trailer brilliantly makes use of the stunning imagery and iconic music of the franchise and leaves fans craving for more! We are sure that the final film in the Skywalker Saga will be the cinematic event of the year!
