Sony's PS5 Showcase Reveals Pricing, Release Date and Game Trailers

Everyone was curious to know the pricing and release date of PS5 in Australia. Sony has not only met this demand but has also revealed several intriguing game trailers. Read on to know the deets of the console and the upcoming games.

 

The PS5 will be available in Australia from 12 November. It will cost AUD 749.95 if you want to buy the flagship version. If you can do with the digital-only and disc-less version, it would cost AUD 599.

 

Talking about the specs, the PS 5 will have a memory of GDDR6 16GB, a memory bandwidth of 448 GB/s and “Tempest” 3D AudioTech. The CPU will be x86-64-AMD Ryzen™ “Zen 2” with 8 Cores/16 Threads and a variable frequency of up to 3.5 GHz. The GPU will have AMD Radeon™ RDNA 2-based graphics engine, a variable frequency of up to 2.23 GHz (10.3 TFLOPS) and Ray Tracing Acceleration.

 

The SSD of PS5 will be 825GB with 5.5GB/s Read Bandwidth (Raw). The PS5 Game Disc will be Ultra HD Blu-ray™ with up to 100GB/disc. The Video Output will include Support of 4K 120Hz TVs, 8K TVs and VRR (that is specified by HDMI ver.2.1).

 

 

In a live showcase for PS5, Sony also shared info about some exhilarating games and released the trailers. Here they are:

 

1. Final Fantasy XVI

It will have more fantasy setting with magic, crystals, knights, chocobos, and several gigantic monsters abound.

 

2. Spider-Man: Miles Morales

It will have Miles Morales as a protagonist, new purplish villains and interesting combat and quick-time events.

 

3. Hogwarts Legacy

Expected to be released in 2021, this game will carry on the legacy and awesomeness that began with the release of the first Harry Potter book in 1997.

 

4. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

This game has more gunfire, gruff voices and car chase which can turn explosive at any time.

 

5. Resident Evil Village

This game also has new monster people and chanting images. It will be released in 2021.

 

6. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach

Five Nights at Freddy’s is back with a whole lot more money behind it.

 

7. Demon’s Souls

It is a very pretty remaster. One glimpse at it and you feel that it has that classic Souls feel in combat.

 

8. God of War

Kratos is back and the Norse apocalypse, Ragnarok is coming. The game will be released in 2021 and might be titled God of War: Ragnarok.
