Elon Musk has plans to send digital billboards for advertisements in space. SpaceX has partnered with the Geometric Energy Corporation, a tech company from Canada to help him achieve this unusual feat.

New reports say that a giant satellite is in the works at Geometric Energy Corporation, named CubeSat. The spaceship will enter space via a Falcon 9 rocket by SpaceX and be ready to orbit by 2022.

Regarding this, Samuel Reid, the co-founder, and CEO of Geometric Energy Corporation told Business Insider that a selfie stick will record everything that the billboard is displaying in real-time. For curious viewers, Elon Musk and GEC will make sure that the footage goes live on Twitch and YouTube.

After this milestone is achieved, big corporations and companies will be able to buy space for advertisements using tokens. As of now, SpaceX and GEC have talked of four tokens that include a Beta token for the X coordinate, Gamma token for brightness, Rhoe token for Y coordinate, XI token for the time, and Kappa token for colour.

GEC and SpaceX will make these tokens available for purchase via cryptocurrencies such as Dogecoin and Ethereum. According to reports, Samuel Reid has also taught some children of Elon Musk at the California Ad Astra School.

He stated, “I’m trying to achieve something that can democratize access to space and allow for decentralized participation. Hopefully, people don’t waste money on something inappropriate, insulting, or offensive.”

He also added that the billboard might be used by companies for advertisements or perhaps, by artists to display something “more personal and artistic.”

Currently, Elon Musk and his team at SpaceX have plans to do a test flight, hoping that the spacecraft in Orbit will land back on Earth, safely.

As of now, Elon Musk or his company SpaceX has not made any official comments. However, a word from Elon Musk is expected soon.

In other news, a new Lord of the Rings-inspired cryptocurrency called JRR Token is nowhere for fans to boast about.
