Spider-Man: No Way Home — While several Spider-Man films have been released to date yet, the new one simply brings nostalgic elements from all those together. The first three films were directed by Sam Raimi. Then, we got two more Spider-Man films by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield.

What makes No Way Home unique is that it takes some of the most memorable elements from each of the films and puts them together to bring together the universes. As a result of this, critics say that No Way Home has great emotional depth with range.

For instance, at the end of Spider-Man 2 by Sam Raimi, fans thought that this was the last time they would see Alfred Molina’s Doc Oc. However, ever since his appearance in the first trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have been quite excited.

Furthermore, the previous two Spider-Man films relied heavily on the relationship between Peter Parker and the alpha men aka Nick Fury and Tony Stark. However, the new film takes a different turn, reminding everyone that at the end of the day, Peter Parker is simply a stressed-out teenager who is trying to figure things out. And indeed, has a long way to go ahead (after all, Holland’s Peter Parker is significantly younger than the one portrayed by his peers in the movies earlier).

Earlier in the Raimi era, the role of J Jonah Jameson was played by J. K. Simmons. He was the editor of the Daily Bugle, who apparently hated Spider-Man. Yet, he would never waste a single chance of profiting off the superhero’s coverage.

Now in the new film, he returns. But this time, he runs his conspiracy news website. After he lets the entire world know who Spider-Man is, the bad publicity becomes too much for Peter Parker and MJ to handle. Eventually, Peter Asks Dr. Strange to cast a spell that would make the entire universe forget memories about him. However, the spell goes wrong and various people from other universes get summoned. This is what we know from the trailer of No-Way Home.

Of course, those who have seen the trailers would know that the three people that are summoned from the other universes include the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Electro. Of course, these are not the only villains. Some other characters also join them, but let’s leave the spoilers out of this.

While Dr. Strange wants to send the interlopers into their own alternate realities, Peter Parker is worried that they would die fighting Spider-Man in their own universes. While Dr. Strange is totally against it, Parker wants them reformed. And of course, that is not a great idea.

All this information comes out from the official trailers of Spider-Man: No Way Home. As for the film itself, critics say that the action sequences are frenetic and fast. However, they are always coherent enough. The real power of the film is the amazing performance of the actors and an unmatched screenplay by Erik Sommer and Chris McKenna.

Along with that, the tonal nimbleness and goofy dialogues would also remind everyone of the original Spider-Man comics. However, No Way Home is not just all about nostalgic elements from the past. The film also opens big opportunities and gives direction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the future.

The year 2021 has not been the best for the MCU. For instance, Black Widow and Eternals apparently had good prospects on paper. However, they were quite underwhelming on the bigger screen. This led to many fans worrying that perhaps Marvel is running out of fuel for the MCU.

However, with the new Spider-Man film, such perceptions would totally change. For instance, fans will be wondering where Doctor Strange and Spider-Man will be headed next.

Furthermore, the possibility of Venom ending up in the MCU again also excites many people. Of course, none of this is confirmed yet. However, No Way Home does give many directions to the MCU. Fans are currently eager to see where MCU will be headed next.

Could No Way Home be referred to as the best Spiderman movie to date? Well, according to some critics, it could be considered as one given that it is a very fresh take.
