Is there a Birds of Prey post-credit scene?

You’ll get a bit more of Harley Quin after the credits roll, with a reference to an upcoming DCEU movie.

Harley Quinn unites a first all-female superhero team in director Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), and it’s quite a dazzling thrill ride that’s absolutely worth your time and effort. It doesn’t have the usual post-credits scene like Shazam! or Aquaman, but there is a little something from Harley Quinn if you stick around.

There aren’t any spoilers from the actual movie, but don’t read any further if you want to know this fun surprise for yourself.

After the credits, Harley (Margot Robbie) pops and wonders why “you dummies” are still waiting there. (Obviously, we’re used to this since 2008, Harley!) So she decides to reward us by telling us a “super-duper secret-secret.” It looks like this is gonna be good.

“Did you know that Batman f… ,” she says, then abruptly cuts from there.

For now, it’s unclear. Batman doesn’t appear in Birds of Prey, and his whereabouts in the DC Extended Universe at this point is unknown. We last saw him in Justice League, which ended with Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince deciding to rebuild the Wayne Manor to serve as a base of operations for the Justice League. 

However, Ben Affleck gave up the role since then and Robert Pattinson will take over, who’ll play a younger version of the Caped Crusader. That DCEU movie’s out on June 25, this year.

As for what “…Batman f… ”? It seems like Harley Quinn is just messing with us in this Birds of Prey post-credits scene. Hopefully Wonder Woman 1984 will give us a hint of the DCEU future when it shows on theaters on June 5.
