The Fortnite Travis Scott Event, Astronomical, Was The Biggest One Yet

Epic revealed that the event broke the record for the number of players

Travis Scott has the habit of doing everything spectacularly. So, it wasn’t a surprise to see him win hearts via his first-ever virtual performance. The American rapper managed to break all records with the performance as the event engaged millions of players. The star then launched an accompanying merch range with some cool products.

The first-ever virtual performance of Travis Scott saw the participation of about 12.3 million concurrent players. This concert had taken place inside of Fortnite and was organized by developer Epic Games. The developer has confirmed that it was an all-time record. The last record-holder was Fortnite Marshmello Event that had 10.7 million virtual players participating in the battle royale game.

During the concert, Travis Scott teased the Kid Cudi Collaboration- The Scotts. The track came near the end of the performance and was accompanied by an amazing in-game visual which continued the extra-terrestrial aesthetic. For those who are unaware, “The Scotts” serves as La Flame’s recent team-up with his idol Kid Cudi. It also features the duo delivering verses that are riddled with their unique and superior signature ad-libs. 

The track was produced by Travis Scott and also had other well-known producers like Mike Dean, Daytrip, Plain Pat and Dot da Genius. The cover art was by KAWS and it demonstrated the playful art style of the awesome artist.

Shortly after the concert, Travis Scott also released an accompanying merch range. That is led by a unique duo of Cactus Jack Gaming jerseys. It also has a NERF Elite Dart Blaster and 12” action figures. The blaster comes with 20 darts, flip-up sights and is decorated with Goosebumps wrap. The apparels have amazing options like Sick Event T-shirt, World Hoodie, CJ Game Hat and World Tie-Dye T-shirt, among others.
