The list of the highest paid movie stars this year is finally here. Since the year 2021 featured several blockbusters, especially since many high-profile movies from 2020 were pushed to 2021, there has been some fierce competition.

 

Through the last year, movies such as Black Widow have debuted on Disney+, whereas Amazon has purchased the rights to Coming 2 America and The Tomorrow War. The way revenue is now being generated has also changed the way some of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood are being paid.

 

 

To meet the contractual demands of the movie stars, studios have also changed and adjusted their contracts. However, the biggest movie stars of Hollywood continue to get big pay checks. According to the new list of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, Daniel Craig is on the top.

 

Based on reports, the star grossed over a hundred million (USD) from Knives Out 2 and Knives Out 3. Hence, he takes the first spot. The second highest paid actor is Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson who received a pay check of a whopping $50 million (USD) from the movie, Red One.

On the other hand, Denzel Washington and Will Smith also appeared on the list of the highest paid actors. Both the actors earned around $40 million (USD) from their movies The Little Things and King Richard, respectively.

 

Next on the highest paid movie stars list are Mark Wahlberg and Leonardo DiCaprio, both of whom brought in $30 million for the Netflix titles, Spenser Confidential and Don’t Look Up.

But that is not all. Some women have also appeared on the list of highest paid movie stars. These include Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, and Jennifer Lawrence. Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly made $25 million from the movie, Don’t Look Up.

 

Other names on the list include Brad Pitt, Christ Hemsworth, and Ryan Gosling. These three movie stars have reportedly netted $20 million for the movies Bullet Train, Thor: Love and Thunder, and The Grey Man.
