The New Bugatti Bolide is A Light Yet Fast 1825 HP Hypercar

Just recently, the Bugatti Bolide got revealed by the automotive giant. However, as compared to the other two-seaters that cost millions of dollars, this 1825 HP supercar is not too practical.

 

The name of this car, ‘Bugatti Bolide’ comes from a French term that means ‘very fast car’. And according to the automotive manufacturer, this hypercar is not designed for cruising on civilian roads. Rather, this concept car is designed for driving on tracks only.

The Bugatti Bolide features an 8.0 litre 16 -cylinder engine that you can find in the Chiron also. Overall, the Bugatti Bolide has designed as a super-light car and it can take a speed up to 300 mph.

 

Currently, there is no news about whether the Bugatti Bolide will be available for sale or not. However, other performance automotive manufacturers such as Lamborghini and Ferrari sell the track-cars only to the wealthy customers who have their own racetracks.

And typically, cars like the Bugatti Bolide do not featured the safety equipment for crashes that other road cars have. Though, they do come with the safety gear that race cars require.

 

Since this is a race-track car, its design features great aerodynamics. Though, this car is not too tall. All in all, the Bugatti Bolide is almost 3 feet in height. And to get inside, the driver must sit on the sill of the door and place their legs inside before sliding their body in. Does not sound too convenient though.

 

In the design of the Bugatti Bolide, the prime aim of the manufacturers was to reduce the weight while improving the aerodynamics. They seem to have successfully achieved that though.

This car has a 17% reduced aerodynamic lift which makes it quite fast. Furthermore, the air scoop on the roof features a special skin that forms bubbles resembling blisters at a high speed. This results in an improved air flow by up to 10%.

Overall, the Bugatti Bolide features a very attractive design. Though, only the wealthiest of the customers may get the opportunity to take a go at this vehicle in a private racetrack.
