Lamoborghini Veneno – Sotheby’s

Lamborghini is known for raising the bar higher with every vehicle it creates. And still, some vehicles are ultra-rare and demonstrate how the Italian automaker can stun people with the beauty of its vehicles. One of the rare works of art by Lamborghini is the Lamborghini Veneno that is about to hit the block.

For the uninitiated, Lamborghini Veneno was designed to celebrate the marque’s 50th anniversary. It’s dazzling, and the matte-black colour also seems amazing. It will go up for auction next month at Paris at RM Sotheby’s upcoming sale. The Lamborghini Veneno is one of the nine Venenos ever produced and hence has become one of the most exclusive vehicles by Lamborghini that has hit the auction market recently.

Lamborghini, as a brand, never hesitates to make a mark. It was recently in the news when it unveiled the Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision GT in Monaco.

Coming back to Lamborghini Veneno, it was introduced in March 2013. The car would make you think of Batman as the aesthetics are quite like Batmobile. The sharp angles and dramatic lines help in boosting handling stability and maximising downforce through fast corners. The supercar has a carbon monocoque throughout the central tunnel that extends till the door stills. What makes the car more appealing is the fact that the black finish is accented in lime green. It also has blinding LED lights that help it get a stunningly sinister look.

Lamborghini Veneno weighs 3,285 lbs and is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12. It produces 750 bhp for a 0-100 km/h dash of just 2.9 seconds. The model that is being auctioned has just clocked 450 kilometres

The Lamborghini Veneno will be auctioned on February 5. Its original price is USD 4 (A$5.85) million, but RM Sotheby plans to sell at around USD 6 (A$8.77) million or more. It is likely that the price details will be shared once the car is sold. Anyone who loves cars and has millions lying around would be smart to buy this beauty and enhance their car collection.
