Not too long ago, Netflix announced that Tiger King 2 was on its way. And just shortly after announcing it, the platform has already released a trailer as well. Last month, Netflix tweeted, “Tiger King is coming back this year — and Season 2 promises just as much mayhem and madness as Season 1!” And that was quite a surprise for the fans.

In the new trailer of Tiger King 2, we see Jeff Lowe, Allen Glover, James Garretson, and Tim Stark discussing the way their life has changed ever since the first season came. Then, they talk about the Carole Baskin vs. Joe Exotic saga.

Though, fans have been wondering whether the two will be involved in season 2? Well, they are in the trailer.

In the trailer, we see short appearances of both. However, as compared to the previous season, Tiger King 2 will feature lesser screen time for both. That is because Carole is refused to get involved after the mayhem of the last season, and Joe Exotic is currently behind bars.

After the announcement of season 2 came through, Carole Baskin stated in a Variety interview that she knew that Eric and Rebecca were working on a new season. However, she was not particularly very happy about it.

Regarding this, Carole Baskin stated, “I know some people who have been involved in it, and they were doing more filming, so I assumed at some point they would come out with a Tiger King 2. It took them five years to put together the first one, so I thought it would be a lot longer.”

She further added, “I think there’s a Mark Twain quote about a lie making its way around the world faster than the truth can get its pants on, and that’s true because people just love a good lie.”

However, despite all the anger, Baskin also stated that she would be watching the Tiger King 2 anyway just to check on what it is saying about her. For now, only the trailer of the second season is out. However, it is expected to arrive on Netflix on the 17th of November 2020.
