During Stage 1 of the Tour de France, a woman held up a banner while she was looking at television bike cameras. She was standing on the edge of the road and did not pay much attention to the speeding peloton behind her. Tony Martin, a German rider, brushed past her and was probably knocked off due to the contact. He fell and caused a terrible domino effect as several other bikes and bodies crashed onto him.

Only Jasha Sutterlin, the DSM German’s rider, succeeded at pulling out of the giant crash at the Tour de France. In addition to bikers, many spectators were also hurt in the giant crash.

The Deputy Director of Tour de France, Pierre-Yves Thouault, said this about the incident- “We are suing this woman who behaved so badly. We are doing this so that the tiny minority of people who do this don’t spoil the show for everyone.”

The woman who caused the giant crash at Tour de France has fled the scene, and the authorities are looking for her. She was wearing a yellow jacket and immediately fled the scene. According to the regulations, that woman can be charged with ‘deliberately violating safety regulations and so causing injuries that might prevent someone working for up to three months.’ If that happens, she might have to spend up to a year in prison and a fine of about £13,000.

The Director of Tour de France, Christian Prudhomme, criticized the French public for behaving inadmissibly after the coronavirus lockdown restrictions were eased. Some fans had set off flares and fireworks by the roadside when the riders were speeding past them. He said this to the French media “You come here to see heroes. If you want to see yourself look in the mirror.”

In other news, the Shang Chi trailer is out now.
