Xbox Gamers Are More Toxic Compared To Playstation Gamers

The study also revealed surprising findings on Animal Crossing and Minecraft players

A new study by professional psychologists using the Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire has surveyed 1,000 (964 to be exact) gamers to determine which console users tend to display aggression when it comes to gameplay. The consoles in the survey were mobile, PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo.

 

After surveying it was determined that the video game titles which exhibit the most toxic behavior are Battlefield, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, FIFA, and Animal Crossing. When the data was broken down in terms of consoles, Xbox scored the highest in all categories, Physical Aggression, Verbal Aggression, Anger, and Hostility.

 

Surprisingly, the data revealed that Animal Crossing players are some of the most aggressive which placed on top of the Xbox list, and also revealed that Minecraft players are the most hostile. Also, if you are wondering how many gaming equipment (such as gaming controllers or physical game discs) were smashed out of the sample set, a total of 438 Xbox and PlayStation controllers were intentionally damaged caused by increased aggresion levels in the past 12 months.
