Motor enthusiasts always want to know about their preferred brand Ferrari, be it a race or the Ferrari x Armani apparel deal. Their attention will also be on Abu Dhabi at the end of November for two reasons. First is the long-awaited 2019 Formula 1 Etihad Airlines Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the second is the one of a kind collector car auction where a lot of blue-chip racing machines would be auctioned. Though there will be 40 vehicles in the auction, suddenly, the interest has turned to the Formula 1 car that has been driven by none other than Michael Schumacher.

Yes, you read it right, the V10 Ferrari is a Formula 1 car that was once driven by the legend. He drove this Formula 1 car during his successful 2002 season. Anyone who can afford the car would love to own it because it has been driven on a real race track, not the toy formula 1 racetrack that was in the news recently.

The auction will be organised by auction kings RM Sotheby in collaboration with Formula One at the Yas Marina Circuit on November 30. The cost of this amazing Formula 1 car is expected to be AU$11 million, and anyone who buys it to park it in the driveway, hang it on the roof or float it on a boat would have to have a big heart and a big purse! If the large price-tag is proven to be real, this would be the most expensive Ferrari F1 ever sold at a Sotheby auction. A percentage of the sale price would be donated to Keep Fighting Foundation of Michael Schumacher.

This auction might take the Ford vs. Ferrari enmity to the next level as Ford will have to come up with something unique to get this much attention! The Formula 1 Car is ready to race at Ferrari Corse Clienti events and is currently Ferrari Classiche Certified. It might need extensive rebuilding of engine and transmission.

After the Formula 1 car is bought, it will be delivered to the new owner at Italy’s Fiorano Circuit, Ferrari’s private R&D racetrack. It will ensure that the new owner can drive or get it driven then and there. Michael Schumacher’s son, Mick shot a promotional video at Fiorano to gain people’s attention towards his old man’s car.
