After making the tech enthusiasts and gadget lovers wait for months, Apple has finally dropped a 13-inch MacBook Pro that is loaded with cool features like a magic keyboard. Here’s how Aussies can get their hands on it and how much it will cost them.

Some worthy features of the new MacBook Pro are a 13-inch retina display, a quad-core processor, a touch bar and touch ID. The device also has a new Magic Keyboard that was previously available in 16-inch MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air. The device would have 2,8 times faster performance as compared to the previous 13-inch Pro. It will also have 16GB RAM that can be extended to 32GB easily.

The MacBook Pro also has a 10th generation processor which ensures faster graphics performance. It also has an Intel Iris Plus Graphics chip that enables 4K video editing and can let users connect to Pro Display XDR at 6K resolution.

One thing that’s missing in the MacBook Pro is the screen size. There were rumours that the device will have a 14-inch screen, but it didn’t happen. The screen did get an upgrade as it has 500 nits of brightness and True Tone tech.

The launch of MacBook Pro has proved one thing – Apple is continuing with new launches despite the coronavirus pandemic. The company also dropped refreshed MacBook Air, new iPad Pro and the cheaper iPhone SE despite the pandemic.

The price of MacBook Pro starts at AUD 1,999 in Australia, and the device will come with 256GB storage. If one needs a 512GB version, they will need to shell out AUD 2,299. The device with 1TB storage will cost a person AUD 3,299. The device is on sale from today. Anyone can buy it from Apple.

Though the MacBook Pro is impressive, Apple has some more surprises in store. According to rumours, the company is working on laptops with a 14-inch display and mini LED screens. The company is also planning to release laptops that will have their own chips instead of the ones created by Intel. Only time will tell which of these rumours are true.
