Elon Musk is in the news again, and this time it isn’t because of his plans to build NASA’s latest lunar lander with Jeff Bezos or his anger at the coronavirus restrictions in the US. This time, he is making news because he has found a unique name for his sixth child, a son that he recently had with Grimes.

Though it is confirmed that Elon Musk and Grimes’ son is a boy, the couple won’t assign a gender to the kid. Talking about that the singer previously stated, “I don’t want to gender them in case that’s not how they feel in their life.” Elon Musk, who is constantly exploring space and is apparently doing a Tom Cruise movie in space, confirmed that Grimes and the baby are doing good. He has also shared some images of the baby.

When someone asked the baby’s name, Elon Musk replied it was X Æ A-12 Musk. As Elon Musk’s tweets are usually very unique, people assumed that he was kidding and some didn’t believe that the baby’s name was actually what Elon Musk had shared.

To a lot of people’s surprise, the name is actually X Æ A-12 Musk.

A Twitter account interpreted the given name as “X Ash Archangel” – “Æ” is pronounced “ash,” and “Archangel” was the internal codename for the A-12 aircraft of the CIA. Elon Musk liked the tweet, which lead people to believe it was the right guess.

But, Grimes confirmed it via a tweet or her own and explained its meaning in detail.

So your head’s still spinning, innit? Well, you’re not alone. Some people still can’t wrap their head around the weird name, some people are not shocked at all. The latter still remember that Grimes changed her name from Claire to “c” – as in the speed of light about two years ago. Like mother, like son!

Honestly speaking, the name X Æ A-12 Musk is so unique that people didn’t even expect even Elon Musk to do something like this. The name is actually loved by the meme makers who didn’t lose an opportunity to create several funny and memorable memes. Here are some of the funniest ones worth having a look at.

Though Grimes’ explanation of the name does help understand it a bit, a lot is still unanswered like how to actually pronounce the name or say it aloud. We’d let you know as soon as we figure it out. Maybe Elon Musk or Grimes could help with that via another tweet? What do you think?
