Here Are Style Hacks If You’re The Awkward Skinny Guy

Level-up you style to level-up your game

Some people may think that you’re jabby AF if you’re an effortless skinny guy who doesn’t need to get some workout to lose some body fat. On the other hand—and just because human beings are never contented—some thin gentlemen may feel bad when no matter how much they exert effort for gains, their body just won’t cooperate.  To make things worse, some get ups that we want seem to only fit men with nearly impossible built bodies (AKA beefed up lads). We know, it’s depressing, but being skinny shouldn’t stop you from looking and feeling good.  By rocking the right clothes, the right way, you can create an illusion that you’ve packed some muscle.

We can’t promise that you’ll end up like looking like your GF’s supermodel dream guy, but trust us, these style hacks can help you make a difference.

Wear crew neck t-shirts or sweaters

Crew neck shirts give the appearance of squared shoulders.  Wearing t-shirts or sweaters with this neckline will not only make your shoulders look broader but also make your torso a bit bigger.

It’s a must that your clothes fit you

Those pants may look sexy on that model on the ad, but please, do not ever simply cop that pair without even trying them on first. Wearing clothes that are too big or baggy will make you look smaller.  Also, if possible, go to a good tailor to create well-tailored suits, pants, and other clothes for you.

Layer outfits with a light fabric

Layering is one of the effortless ways to bulk up and add more mass to your frame.  Layer with light fabric so it’s more comfortable, especially now that it’s winter season. If you’re feeling more adventurous, try the triple-layering trick: plain shirt + plaid polo + denim jacket.

Choose horizontal lines

While vertical lines emphasize your height and elongate your frame, horizontal lines are the skinny man’s best mate. Horizontal lines create the illusion of width instead of length and height, which can make you look wider than your actual frame.

Wear some accessories

Last but not the least, try to put on some accessories. Believe it or not, even simple accessories such as watches, bracelets, and belt buckles add a little something to your skinny body frame. Just do not over do it.
