He bought it from a company that is dubbed as “the world’s most luxurious bed.” Here’s what we know about this mattress, Drake’s bed and why we envy both so much!

 

As Drake isn’t the one to hide his luxurious possessions, he frequently releases videos that coincide with songs like Toosie Slide and provide glimpses of his majestic mansion. Fans enjoy the glimpses of his abode as much as they loved Raf Simons Jacket in ‘Toosie Slide’ that the rapper flaunted.

For those who are curious like us, the mattress that graces Drake’s bed is designed by a Swedish luxury bed maker knows as Hästens. The mattress has been designed by designer Ferris Rafauli and is handcrafted with cotton, wool and horsehair. It sits atop a sturdy base of debossed and upholstered check-pattern nubuck that has gold detailing. The latter weighs around one ton and takes up to 600 hours to produce.

 

The rapper talked about the bed and mattress recently. He said “The bedroom is where I come to decompress from the world at the end of the night and where I open my eyes to seize the day. He added, “The bed lets you float, the shower lets you escape and gather your thoughts, and the closet makes you want to talk to yourself while you’re getting dressed.”
