If you have ever tasted an expensive burger, you might have wondered how pricey a burger can be. The answer to that is the latest Golden Boy burger from De Daltons, a Dutch diner that costs AU$ 8,000. It is currently, the most expensive burger in the world.

Located in a small town called Voorthuizen, which is about forty minutes from Amsterdam, De Daltons call themselves the Kings of Burgers. The ingredients most expensive burger on the planet include king crab that is cooked in white wine, wagyu A5 brisket, chuck short ribs, Dom Pérignon battered onion rings, white truffle, Joselito bellota vintage Jamon, beluga caviar, a smoked saffron chive mayonnaise that is made by using duck eggs, cheddar with truffle sourced from Wyke Farms, Dom Perignon Champagne bun, Matcha pickled tiger tomato and cucumber, Kopi Luwak barbecue sauce coffee and Macallan Single Malt Whiskey Rare Cask and Whiskey-impregnated smoke.

If you are reading about the world’s most expensive burger for the first time, you should know that this is not the first time a burger has been so lavishly priced. Earlier, Gordon Ramsay’s London launched a burger that cost AU$ 140, and then a burger in Tokyo made the news as it cost over AU$ 1200.

The Guinness World Record has crowned it as the most expensive burger. Burgers are pretty tricky to make as getting the right taste by layering different ingredients with complex flavours. If the talk of all the juicy burgers has made you crave one of these, you can buy an expensive one at a burger place near you or maybe have an AU$3 cheeseburger at your nearest McDonald’s. They also taste almost the same.
