The leak that suggests that iPhone 13 might let users enjoy satellite connectivity was shared by a renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Reports say that this feature will let future users send messages and even make phone calls if they are in an area with no cellular reception.

How is that possible? The connection will be with LEO satellites. Also known as Low Earth Orbit satellites, these satellites and their connectivity with the new iPhone will prove to be beneficial for people who live in rural areas with issues of strong cellular collection. The hardware of the iPhone 13 would likely have a customized Qualcomm X60 baseband chip that is capable of enabling satellite communications.

Kuo also mentioned via a note that Globalstar is “most likely to cooperate with Apple in terms of technology and service coverage.”

In addition to satellite communication possibilities, the new iPhone might also have design features like a new camera orientation, a buttonless silhouette, and many other amazing features.

Leaks are also highlighting that Apple’s iPhone 13 might be launched this September, alongside AirPods 3. A Chinese e-commerce page named MacRumors has revealed images of listings on AirPods 3 and iPhones 3. The four models of iPhone 13 might be launched on September 17, while the AirPods 3 might be released on September 30.

Though the Apple analyst’s prediction about Apple iPhone 13 might be true, the news of release dates is likely very likely to be untrue as the source that shared that leak isn’t very reliable and has released leaks that turned out to be inaccurate in the past.

If you are looking forward to the release of the iPhone 13, we suggest you wait for official release dates from Apple.
