Jurassic World 3 to Bring Back the Old Cast Members

Another throwback movie hype

Bringing back old characters seems to be the new Hollywood trend. AfterStar Wars, the makers of Jurassic World are following the same path. Three of the cast members from the previous film, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum are re-joining the franchise and will be seen in Jurassic World 3.

 

The trio appeared in the original Jurassic Park in 1992 and will be reprising their roles. Neill will be Dr. Alan Grant, Dern will be Dr. Ellie Sattler and Goldblum would be Dr. Ian Malcolm. Chris Pratt will return as Owen Grady, a dinosaur handler. Colin Trevorrow will return to direct Jurassic World 3 and will also serve as an executive producer. Steven Spielberg will return to his previous co-producing job. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are also back. These changes were announced at special Arclight Hollywood screening of “Jurassic World.”

If you are a sci-fi film fan and you enjoy films like Terminator: Dark Fate then you need to add Jurassic World 3 to your list of must-watch movies. The film is written by Emily Carmichael and the story is provided by Derek Connolly and Trevorrow, who co-wrote the “Jurassic World” story arc.

 

Though Universal hasn’t shared the plot details for this upcoming dinosaur blockbuster, it is likely the film will revolve around dinosaurs who were set free in Fallen Kingdom. A Jurassic World Short was also recently released that showed how dinosaurs were living in our world and how humans had to fight for survival from the carnivorous beasts.

It is likely that the plot of this upcoming movie would be something similar to what was shown in the released short, Battle at the Big Rock and the original trio would probably fight against and beat the freed dinosaurs (if the film has a happy ending!).

 

Jurassic World 3 will hit the theatres in winter of 2021. The production of the film is overseen by Sara Scott, the company’s Senior Vice President of Production.
