The announcement of the Tesla Model S Plaid first came in January 2021 and since then, it has been the talk of the town. Just recently, Tesla revealed the finalized model of this extreme performance car as part of a delivery event.

And now, the Tesla Model S Plaid, aka the most powerful production car by Tesla is finally available to order.

The car features an unbelievable 1020 horsepower engine, which can take the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h just a bit over 2 seconds. Along with that, the Model S Plaid would have a range of 628 kilometres.

However, according to an earlier announcement by Elon Musk, the Plaid Plus model (a faster Model s variant) will not go into production just because Plaid is good enough.

On the first look, the exterior and interior of the Model S Plaid look quite similar to the other recent Model S vehicles. Of course, this one has a sporty look with a Plaid badging. However, this vehicle features a lot more inside exterior.

It takes exactly 2.1 seconds for this car to go from 0 to 100 km/h. At a speed of 250 km/h, it would take this car only 9.2 seconds to complete a quarter-mile. Of course, this is not as fast as the company initially promised.

According to the initial announcements, the Tesla Model S Plaid was supposed to achieve a 322-km/h top speed. However, now it looks like it would only do so with the proper tires and wheels that will arrive later in fall 2021.

If you plan on driving the Model S Plaid at its top speed, it will not give you a full range of 628 kilometres.

While these numbers are not as good as what was promised earlier for the Plaid Plus models, the company is achieving the promised benchmarks for the base model.

In other news, the all-new Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series will be arriving in Australia between October and December 2021. Featuring a twin-turbo V6 engine with a 3.3-liter capacity capable of producing 700 Nm and 227 kW, this new Land Cruiser will be more powerful than ever.
