Often at times, the real whiskey and wine enthusiasts look for the best drink that they can get. The age of the whiskey is considered a sign of great quality. An Irish Whiskey company called Craft Irish Whiskey Co. is set to launch the oldest triple-distilled ever on 30th November.

This triple-distilled whiskey is 29 years old and is titled The Devil’s Keep. It will be on sale on Monday. However, this sale is going to be unlike any random spirit launch. According to expectations, this malt whiskey may restore Ireland’s glory in the world of whiskeys.

Ireland was the first country to invent this spirit back in the 14th century. However, since the 1800s, Ireland’s reputation as a whiskey manufacturer has gone down. At the same time, Scotland has taken the lead in the spirit industry. It looks like Craft Irish Whiskey Co. is changing that and it now has decent shot at the global luxury spirit market.

This Irish Whiskey goes through three steps of maturation which results in a smoky whiskey profile. It starts its journey in American oak casks. From there, it is transferred to French oak barrels, before a final finish in virgin Hungarian oak. The Devil’s Keep posses hints of toasted sugar, caramel, and vanilla. This makes it the perfect neat.

The Devil’s Keep comes safe inside two custom cases. A Japanese lock further secures the case in place. The cases also feature an ‘Angel’s Share’ atomizer, Irish spring water, obsidian whiskey stones, custom glasses, and a malted barley jar.

In this regard, the founder of the company Jay Bradley said, “For many years Scotland has dominated whiskey through the sheer breadth and depth of its offering. They’ve offered everything from lower-shelf, mass-produced blends to mid-shelf, higher-quality household names, as well as top-shelf brands. Yet, there has always been a gap in the market for ultra-luxury whiskeys.”

“Born from a conversation with my late father, The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. has a single mission: to create the finest whiskeys Ireland has ever made and to redefine global perceptions of luxury while building a legacy”, Bradley added.

This luxury Irish Whiskey is going for sale at a whopping price of  €10,000 (A$16,200) which makes it the most expensive first release. Fans and whiskey fans can grab one from the brand’s website starting from Monday.

A lot is going on in the world of whiskeys. Recently, Johnnie Walker is now launching paper-based bottles for environmental preservation.
