A few weeks after teasing the vehicle, Porsche has revealed the high-performance version of the Cayenne, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. It has the most powerful V-8 that the brand has ever revealed and some other key features. Read them below.

The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 of the Cayenne Turbo GT has an upgraded crankshaft that perfectly connects the pistons and rods. It can develop 471kW and 850Nm, which is an increase of 67kW/80Nm when compared to the ‘standard’ Cayenne Turbo Coupe.

Also, the new luxury SUV is quicker due to less weight. However, it does not have a plug-in hybrid system. It can reach 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.3 seconds while the top speed is 300km/h. In addition to the engine, the Cayenne Turbo GT is different from the rest of the Cayenne range as it sits 0.3 inches lower. Its front wheels are also positioned a full inch wider as compared to the Turbo Coupe. Some other revised Cayenne Turbo GT components are wider air intakes, changes to the front fascia, a titanium exhaust system, carbon-fibre roof and diffuser, and an upper rear wing, among others.

The inside of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is also remarkably interesting. It has a brand-new infotainment system that has Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The front and rear seats have Alcantara insets. It also has a Turbo GT script along its headrests. It also has a 10-speaker sound system, unique stitching, and a yellow marker that graces the steering wheel at 12 o’clock.

The standard equipment available in the Australian models of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT will include privacy glass, Comfort Access, rear and front parking sensors, lane-change assist, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control that comes with emergency assistance, a head-up display, four-zone climate control, rear side airbags, digital radio, ambient lighting, and a 20-inch spare wheel that is collapsible.
