Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is Nearly Confirmed via Leaked Pics

Leaks of Samsung’s flagship phone are already circulating online

 

Samsung is switching to naming latest devices according to the year they were launched. Instead of launching the Samsung Galaxy S11, the company is launching the S20 this year. This was confirmed when XDA developers published the pictures of Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus.

 

The startup screen is enough to verify the new name of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus. The device has a centre-hole punch cut out that reminds of the selfie shooter present on Galaxy Note 10. People who buy this phone after using a Galaxy 10 or S10 Plus will feel a difference as the curved sides aren’t there. It means that Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus will probably feel flat in hand for some time.

 

The back of Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus seems as interesting as the front. It contains a gorgeous camera array which might include a 12 MP 1.8-micron main camera, a telephoto, an ultra-wide and probably a macro lens too. It is also rumoured that the device might have a rear microphone that will boost audio quality when a user is recording videos.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is expected to launch on February 11. Samsung might also surprise and delight the fans by debuting the Galaxy Bloom (name has yet to be confirmed), a new foldable phone during the same event.

It is also probable that Samsung will unveil a line of Galaxy S20 which will include different sized screens and different connectivity options. Some of them will certainly have 5G connectivity. S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, regular S20 are the probable devices that will be launched. Ultra is expected to be the most high-end version.

 

All the devices will have common features such as larger screens than the members of the S10 family and a Snapdragon 865 processor or Exynos 990 (depending on the country).  

Though XDA developers seems like a worthy source with original pictures of Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus and other devices in the family, nothing is confirmed yet. The fans of the brand would have to wait for February 11 to know all the details of Samsung S20. Till then, all the fans can do is guess or predict.
