Unveiling Samsung Galaxy S11- Everything We Know So Far!

Samsung has revealed the details of Samsung Galaxy S11 unveiling. Samsung’s Unpacked keynote will be organised in San Francisco on February 11, 2020, at 11 am Pacific Time. It has been confirmed via the official invite that was sent to several media outlets. The timing and the location of the launch is similar to the launch of Samsung Galaxy S10 last year.

 

One thing that might make Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event stand differently from the rest is that three Samsung Galaxy S11 devices will be launched, not four. All of the devices will have a 5G modem. The name of the devices is not confirmed yet. Though the usage of Samsung Galaxy S11 makes the most sense, Samsung might skip a few numbers and might use the Galaxy S20 numbering scheme.

 

It is also being speculated that at the unveiling event of Samsung Galaxy S11, the new Samsung Galaxy foldable phone might also make a surprise appearance. This surprise launch will only be possible if Samsung has fixed the issues that delayed the release of Samsung Galaxy Fold the last time. It must be noted here that the new fold would be different from the old fold. The new one would have a design similar to Moto Razr  while the old fold resembles a book.

 

Recent rumours suggest that Samsung Galaxy S11 might include a base model, a plus model and an ultra-model. The display of the devices might vary from 6.2 inches to 6.9 inches. All of the Samsung Galaxy S11’s might be powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset (in the US) or Samsung Exynos chipset (most of the world, probably including Australia).

 

The sudden announcement of Samsung Galaxy S11 unveiling has confirmed one thing. Samsung is feeling the pressure of competition from other brands like Motorola, Apple and OnePlus. Apple is competition due to its globally popular iPhones. Motorola is a competitor thanks to innovations like new Razr and OnePlus is a competition as it provides features-loaded phones for hundreds of dollars less than the pricing set by Samsung.

With the quick launch of Samsung Galaxy S11, Samsung can get an edge over the competitors and can claim that it innovates first, while others just follow!
