The worldwide release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is just a few days away. Disney is boosting the hype associated with the film by doing all it can. The latest trick is to reveal details about the Star Wars hotel, the Galactic Starcruiser, that is a luxury hotel situated in Orlando, Florida. It will begin taking guests sometime in 2021, and the exact date hasn’t been revealed.

The Star Wars hotel promises to deliver an immersive experience to all the guests. The guests can enjoy “a two-night, cruise-style itinerary” along with “24/7 Star Wars storytelling.” The details were revealed by Walt Disney Imagineering on Tuesday.

After arriving at the terminal of the Star Wars hotel, the guests will be whisked away in a Starcruiser that will have a launch pod as well. The windows of the pod are so cleverly designed that guests might think that they are travelling through space to a “massive ship that is much too large to land on any planet.”

A guest staying at the Star Wars hotel would be able to enjoy special passenger transports directly to Batuu, which is the Star Wars-themed area of the park.

The Disney Wars-themed blog said this “To get from Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and back, you’ll remain fully in-story as you step aboard the transport ships designed specifically for this new immersive experience. It will connect you directly to a spaceport at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu.”

For those who are unaware, the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was opened earlier this year in August in Disney World and in May in Disneyland. People can visit Batuu to build a travelling lightsabre or a droid. Visitors can also enjoy Star Wars-themed food and beverages which includes the infamous blue milk. The visitors can also enjoy the interactive Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, a ride in which a visitor can not only steer or repair the ship but can also enjoy firing the missiles.

Though the tickets of the Star Wars hotel are not for sale yet and people can only sign up to the mailing list of the Galactic Starcruiser’s website, Disney has achieved what it set out to do, people are again talking about the Star Wars Universe and the buzz will probably help increase the advance bookings for the 9th film in the Skywalker saga.
