While the Marvel Studios prepares the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 with The Eternals, a new generation of heroes is coming up on Disney’s streaming platform soon to be launched. Yet don’t take that to mean that these new superheroes are just support for the streaming service, Disney+. According to Marvel Studio’s Kevin Feige, the shows are only the beginning.

While we knew that some of the major MCU film players were having their own TV series, Disney recently announced that Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight are also getting their own shows on Disney+. The latter two, recently, have already gained some talent for the production.

According to The Hollywood Reporter ,  “[Kevin] Feige is currently developing shows based around Ms. Marvel—the studio’s first Muslim hero—as well as She-Hulk and Moon Knight. All three will appear on the big screen after their Disney+ debuts, the exec confirms.”

It’s interesting to see that these characters aren’t restricted to their TV shows — they’re part of the much wider movie universe, where both sides need to tell the whole storey, as Bloomberg reported earlier.

If you want to understand everything in future Marvel movies, [Feige] says, you’ll probably need a Disney+ subscription, because events from the new shows will factor into forthcoming films such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The Scarlet Witch will be a key character in that movie, and Feige points out that the Loki series will tie in, too. “I’m not sure we’ve actually acknowledged that before,” he says. “But it does.”

Sadly, the debuts of these heroes from now on seem to be quite a way. The first MCU series, The Falcon and Winter Soldier, will not appear until spring 2020, followed in autumn 2021 by WandaVision and Loki, the alt-reality saga What If… In the fall of 2021, and in the summer of 2021 Hawkeye. When things go on like this, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight are not expected to get here until 2022

Ms. Marvel is headed by Bisha K. Ali (Four Weddings and a Funeral), Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) runs She-Hulk, and Jeremy Slater (Umbrella Academy) is headed by Moon Knight.

Disney+ is releasing a number of movies (which also include movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe), shows and original content on November 19, including The Mandalorian.
