It looks like Marvel’s return to Hall H has brought a plethora of news along with it. This is because we have news surrounding plenty of upcoming Marvel movies. For instance, we already know about the cast of The Eternals. At the same time, that shooting for the Black Widow film has already started.

Moreover, we have also predicted the release dates of the upcoming Marvel movies based on the data that Marvel and Disney has provided us already.

 

MCU phase 4

The Phase 3 of Marvel Movies ended in the start of this month, after the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

However, fans always want to see more and more! In this regard, a number of Marvel movies have recently been announced as a part of the Phase 4. Many of these movies are in their pre-production phase, while shooting for one has already started. However, the exact release dates of these movies have not been provided as of now.

Since the shooting for Black Widow is going on currently, we can expect it to be on the first slot. Hence, it shall be released first. What about the other Marvel movies though?

Based on our predictions, the following pattern may be followed worldwide:

1st May (2020) – Black Widow

5th November (2020) – The Eternals

12 February (2021) – Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

7th May 7 (2021) – Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

5th November (2021) – Thor: Love and Thunder

Apart from these Marvel movies, we have also got teasers regarding with upcoming shows including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, What If, and WandaVision.

Indeed, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is up to big things in the coming years. Furthermore, a Loki show is also being planned starring Tom Hiddleston. It is a spin off from the last Avengers movie.

 

Black Widow

Currently, the Black Widow film is being produced. Hence, this is the only one from among the phase 4 Marvel movies, currently having real footage. The film has been written by Ned Benson and Jack Schaeffer, and Cate Shortland is the director.

Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) appeared in the Avengers: Endgame the last time. [Spoiler Alert] She ended up sacrificing her life in order to secure the Soul Stone for the Avengers, so that Thanos can be stopped. Altogether.

The new film is expected to premiere on 1st May, 2020.

 

The Eternals

The Eternals – Marvel Comics

Being directed by Chloé Zhao and written by Ryan Firpo, The Eternals are cosmic beings that are immortal, and often carry resemblance with the Greek gods. You can consider them to be the DC New Gods counterparts.

It looks like Marvel movies are taking a whole new journey, which is going to be quite exciting. The cast of the film has already been announced, which includes Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek playing Ajax, and Riachard Madden playing Ikaris.

The other cast includes Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo Sunen, Bryan Tyree as Phastos, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Lurden Ridloff as Makkari, and Lia McHugh as Sprite.

The shooting of the movie is expected to start in the coming month, with a worldwide premiere on 5th November 2020.

 

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Shang-Chi is also referred to as the kung-fu master. The character is quite an old one, belonging to the Bronze Age in terms of Comics. Moreover, Shang-Chi has not been a part of any Marvel movies as of yet. Hence, it will be a first.

Starring Simu Liu (the only cast announced as of yet), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is expected to release worldwide on 12 February, 2021.

 

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

This new Doctor Strange film is set after the events of the last Avengers movie, and it will be more of a horror. In this regard, it will be the first of its kind among Marvel movies.

In this regard, Scott Derrickson said, “We’re gonna make the first scary MCU film.”

Previously, the horror genre has largely remained untouched by Marvel movies. It is indeed quite exciting, to think of it.

The film is expected to release on 7th May, 2021 worldwide.

 

Thor: Love and Thunder

Perhaps the most awaited in our list, Thor: Love and Thunder will star Chris Hemsworth, along with Tessa Thompson. Taika Waititi might have only been announced to return for Thor 4 Tuesday but you’d be a fool if you didn’t think he was ready for Hall H. The director, along with Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, appeared on stage to talk about the new film.

Since Natalie Portman is also going to return to MCU, this could be the beginning of a pretty love triangle never seen before in Marvel movies.

The film is expected to premiere on 5th November, 2021.

 

Captain Marvel 2, Blade, and The Fantastic Four

Along with the above mentioned Marvel Movies, we also got reminded about Guardians 3, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, and The Fantastic Four.
