Patek Philippe, the Genevan luxury watch manufacturer, has surprised everyone. It dropped the Nautilus Ref. 5711 that will be the final version of the model that was discontinued earlier this year. The most surprising element of this launch is that the new Nautilus Ref. 5711 has a dial in signature blue colour of Tiffany & Co.

Only 170 pieces of the latest Nautilus will be released. Each of these new Nautilus Ref. 5711 costs US$ 52,635 (AU$ 75000). The watch will be sold only at Tiffany boutiques that sell Patek Philippe models: Beverly Hills, New York, and San Francisco. If you can’t buy one of the new Nautilus Ref. 5711 at a retail store, you can buy one on December 11. One of the Phillips auctions is planned for that date. The proceeds from the sales made on that day will go to a global environmental organization known as The Nature Conservancy.

It is clear that the Nautilus Ref. 5711 will celebrate the partnership between two huge brands that dates back about 170 years. Tiffany & Co. was founded in 1837, while Patek Philippe was founded in 1839. They initiated a partnership in 1851, and after that, Tiffany& Co. became the first official Patek Philippe retailer in the United States.

The all-new Nautilus Ref. 5711 will be signed by Tiffany & Co. and Patek Philippe. The sapphire-crystal caseback of the watch will have “170th Anniversary 1851-2021 Tiffany & Co. – Patek Philippe” added to it. The watch has a self-winding calibre 26-330 SC, and it is mounted on an integrated steel bracelet. Another thing that makes the watch unique is that the bracelet has satin-finished and polished links, which are hand-applied in 55 step process.

So, what makes the Nautilus Ref. 5711 one of the most coveted watches of the year? Its unique dial that will stand apart from any other 5711s and also stand out across a room. If you plan to buy one, we suggest you visit the multi-level space of Tiffany and Co. in New York that is below the Patek Philippe shop-in-shop boutique.
