At a time when viewers are full of option on celluloid with animated movies, there Toy Story 4 comes to add more freshness by striking the emotional chord. The First full-length trailer of the fourth season Toy Story got released by Disney on Tuesday and since then it has been able to attract the viewers’ attention by unraveling its new character named “Forky”.

On one hand where Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones have been able to hold the interest of the audience there, on the other hand, the entry of this trailer seems to be an interesting one as this is more of an emotional journey that examines the existence of toys in the world of humans highlighting their frailty.

Toy Story 3, which was released in 2010 dealt with Woody, Buzz and other fellow toys existential crisis when Andy (the owner of the toys) was moving to his college and how Bonnie came in the life of the toys and Andy at the end of the movie gave all the toys including Woody to her.

This time the franchise is back again exploring the purpose of life that includes duty and fidelity because of a spork (Forky), who is the new character in the movie.

The new trailer of Toy Story 4 shows that Bonnie has “created” Forky out of a spork by pasting googly eyes on it. Forky in his past life consumed soups and hearty lunches to help humans and now it is just not able to accept the life of a toy. However, Woody, Buzz, and the other toys unaware of this existential crisis of Forky try to make the new buddy happy, but the running away of Forky creates turbulence in the life of all the toys. Interestingly, a reunion between Woody and Bo Peep also takes place in the movies with Woody questioning what he knows about his life and about his existence.

The movie won’t be out before June, but the trailer of Toy Story 4 definitely got the oomph factor to woo the audience. The buzz in the rumor mill is that this might be the last chapter of the Toy Story franchise. So, wait for the release of the movie and till then take a glimpse of the trailer.
