Kanye West and IMAX Dropped the ‘Jesus Is King’ Film Trailer
Still no album Kanye… the fans are still waiting
Fans have been waiting for the ‘Jesus is King’ album from a while now. However, the album is nowhere to be seen as of yet. At the same time, Kanye West has already released a vague trailer for an upcoming ‘Jesus is King’ film. The film is directed by Nick Knight, who is a filmmaker belonging to the UK.
The ‘Jesus is King’ film includes a number of gospel performances by Kanye West from the Sunday Service Choir. Fans have already been notified about the release date, which is 25th October. This film by Kanye West will debut globally in IMAX theaters on this date.
Moreover, Kanye West has also announced the release of a ‘Jesus is King merch’ which has gained quite a lot of reputation already. As far as the trailer of the film goes, it opens up with the view of light at the end of the tunnel. With that, the trailer features gospel music that is constantly playing in the background. From there, the scene cuts to the image of a Bible verse which says, “In the words of Jesus Christ, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel.”
Nowadays, it is not uncommon for celebrities to launch their own merchandise and endorse other brands. For instance, a number of celebrities including Gigi Hadid were seen wearing the Yeezy Boosts. Hence we can say with great certainty that the ‘Jesus is King’ merchandise will also get similar endorsement from celebrities once it is released.
Now that Kanye West has announced the release of a film; the merchandise may receive even more attention from the masses. However, as of yet we cannot really be sure how well-received the response would be. After all, celebrity merchandise is usually quite expensive. But since Kanye West has millions of fans all over the globe, chances are that the release would be a big success.
