Say What? Breaking Bad Movie Has Already Been Shot!

Bob Odenkirk tipped some details on what was cooked

Breaking Bad was one of those TV series that stick to your mind and make you keep craving for more. It has everything you expect from a TV series, and that’s the reason it was among the top-rated shows for a long time (Chernobyl series beat it). Fans are looking forward to a spin-off Breaking Bad movie for months now, but one of the actors of the movie recently revealed that it has already been shot. We’re surprised!

Bob Odenkirk, who stars in Breaking Bad movie as Saul Goodman, stated that Vince Gilligan had completed the movie already. In the movie, Aaron Paul (who was recently in the news for launching a mezcal brand, Dos Hombres with Bryan Cranston) will reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman.

During an interview recently, Odenkirk said that he is excited about the Breaking Bad movie. He said it was already shot and he was surprised that people (especially media) didn’t know about it. He added that they had done an amazing job of keeping it a secret. Well, we agree because there have been no spoilers or leaks since initial reports of the breaking bad movie were confirmed last year.

 

Here’s what Bob said during the interview:

“I’ve heard so many different things about it, but I am excited about the Breaking Bad movie. I can’t wait to see it…I don’t know what people know and don’t know. I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot. They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.” 

We have no idea whether Cranston will be in the movie or not, but the actor dropped a hint that Walter White might be back again. RJ Mitte, who played the role of Flynn on the Breaking Bad series, shared that he won’t be back for the untitled movie. So, fans can only hope that Flynn is alive and enjoying life somewhere on the planet.

 

The initial rumblings regarding Breaking Bad movie started in November 2018. It was revealed that Vince Gilligan would be the writer and probable director of the movie that will be shot in New Mexico soon.

Though we are not surprised by the fact that the movie has been shot in just a couple of months, we are amazed that Gilligan managed to shoot the entire film without paparazzi and local reporters catching a whiff of it. If they had, they must have shared important information about the filming with the readers.

The Breaking Bad movie will hit Netflix and AMC in 2020. We’ll let you know the exact release date as soon as we know it!
