Stranger Things 3 Smashes Netflix’s Internal Ratings Record
Strangers Things – Netflix

Netflix is one of the most popular streaming services providers across the world, and it’s delivering top class content to remain at the top. After the smashing success of a unique show, When They See Us, the streaming service has recently launched Stranger Things Season 3. This seems to be a smart move considering that the show has broken Netflix’s internal rating records in just a few days.

Independent data on the viewership of Stranger Things has revealed that the show is among the biggest shows aired by Netflix. The show has also managed to be in the limelight be it the high number of views it’s trailer got or Amazon mentioning to cancel it when some protestors confused Netflix as the maker of the controversial show Good Omens (which is made by Amazon).

Netflix has confirmed that Stranger Things Season 3 has smashed internal rating record by getting record viewership in just 4 days. As per latest selective dump data provided by the company 40.7 million member accounts watched at least some part of Stranger Things Season 3 which is the highest number any Netflix Original has ever accumulated.

These numbers are excellent news for the loyal fans who want more seasons for the show. The probability of Season 4 and 5 has increased exponentially thanks to them. Though it is also a fact that David Harbour, who plays the role of Police Chief Jim Hopper has already predicted that the series would have at least 4 seasons in an interview last year.

Netflix has also unveiled the fact that 18.2 million member households have already finished the eight-episode season. Netflix is still not sharing data on a total number of the average audience for any specific episode.

Stranger Things has also managed to break viewership records of other popular Netflix shows like The Umbrella Academy that had views from 45 million member households in a month from across the world and Sex Education and You that raked around 40 million global views in the first month.

We are not surprised by the smashing success of the series given the fact how popular Stranger Things is across the world and how intriguing the storyline is. Are you?
