Uber has been one of the biggest companies that provide transportation services, but now it’s testing out this new pass that will have a monthly subscription fee and will include car rides, Uber Eats, and the bike and scooter access for the users. Uber has started testing out this coupon in mainly two cities, San Francisco and Chicago where the users are getting a discount along with price protection on some routes and free Uber Eats delivery for a certain number of orders.

Uber already has a $24.99 (A$35) Rider Pass which is active in over 20 cities where you get discounted rides on the cars and first 30 minutes free on the scooters and jump bikes. However, with this addition of Uber Eats in the pass, the services will be much more useful for the people who are regular customers.

Uber has been working on many new ventures currently with its Uber Air plan that is supposed to start testing in 2020. Uber Eats has become a huge success after its launch and now adding it to the regular Uber pass can increase the customer base considerably.

For common people, it would become easy to follow your new keto diet or healthy food choices and also save a lot of money on deliveries. Not only this, but Uber is also testing a lot of other lower price passes for a shorter time limit or with lesser services such as free delivery for orders over a certain amount or exclusive ride discounts and much more.

The plan is currently being tested which means that there is no guarantee that it will be a full-time plan by Uber but if it does come into full action, there will be a few companies that will be knocked off such as Postmate that provides free unlimited free delivery coupons and then there is Lyft that also has an All-Access plan for the riders for certain number of rides per month.

All we need to see is how successful this Uber eats, and transport combo gets and how many users it garners. If the testing is successful, Uber plans on expanding the idea to a lot of other cities in America apart from Chicago and San Francisco.
