When completely built, the world’s largest yacht will be 227 metres in length. It is expected to have rooms for about 140 people, 50 guests, and 90 staff members. It will also have a casino, restaurants, art galleries, malls, theatres, and even exhibition halls. So, it can easily serve as a long-term resort option for the guests who are invited to it. It will also have a top speed of 25 knots. The cost of the yacht is expected to be around $775 million initially, and it will be longer than two football fields. If the owner wants it to be customized precisely, the cost might exceed the 1-billion-dollar mark.

 

The design of the world’s largest yacht is quite unique because the designers want that. One of the designers, Park recently admitted that when he decided to be a yacht designer, he realized the fact that most yachts were stacked up like wedding cakes or white coloured. So, he decided to create a yacht that would stand out. The designer has tried to create non-rectilinear shapes and manipulated the surface skin of the structure.

 

Though the designers don’t think that the yacht will end up being a plaything of a billionaire, the probability of that happening is very high.
