The tequila lovers can now enjoy shots from a new brand by The Rock. Nowadays, Dwayne Johnson is busy promoting his own tequila brand through Instagram. We think that fans will definitely search more ways to get over a hangover after the market launch of this manly elixir. However, it doesn’t seem to be an easy job for the Hobbs and Shaw star as the market is already flooded with celebrity booze.

Now the question is how far the latest tequila brand by The Rock can go in attracting the users? Already, Matthew McConaughey team with Wild Turkey has rolled out a line of small-batch bourbon, which is Texas-inspired Longbranch Whiskey apart from Ryan Reynolds who has partnered with Aviation Gin and even George Clooney recently sold his Casamigos tequila brand to Diageo for a whopping $1 billion in 2017.

Aside from the Rock, the other known celebrities that have made it to the alcohol business world are – Bob Dylan who owns Heaven’s Door, which is a line of whiskeys and bourbons, Wu-Tang Clan also owns a brand of vodka, Diddy owns Ciroc Vodka, Virginia Black Whiskey belongs to, Connor McGregor has Irish Whiskey in his bag, Channing Tatum owns Born and Bred Vodka, Sauza 901 Tequila is owned by Justin Timberlake, Dan Akroyd owns Crystal Head Vodka, Blue Chair Bay Rum is owned by Kenny Chesney, and Elon Musk is also planning to make his own tequila brand called Teslaquila.

This is not the first time that the buzz of The Rock dream tequila brand has made its way to his fans. Earlier also in April 2018, TMZ reported Johnson’s plan of naming his brand of Tequila “Mana”, which is a Polynesian word that means supernatural power or spirit. However, things didn’t go as planned because of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office remark that there are other products with a similar name as reported by The Blast in December 2018.

Now, the Rock is back to promote his tequila bottles in an Instagram photo where the caption read: “Spent all weekend taste testing every batch of my new tequila fresh out of our barrels from Mexico. I’m very passionate about my new tequila we’re developing,”

“It’s been years in the making and every road has led here. Lots of growing excitement. Mana, passion, positivity, hard work and fun. This one’s for you world, let’s have a drink.”
