Falcon and Winter Soldier in a Limited Marvel TV Series

 MCU is going to be everywhere soon.

Two of the most admired Marvel heroes, Falcon and Winter Soldier, are coming together for a limited series that will be shown via Disney streaming service. Variety reported that the ‘Empire’ writer Malcolm Spellman had been approached to write a series that will feature two of the most loved superheroes. This series is under development at the steamer. If the news is true, it will be the first-ever Marvel Limited series that has found a writer.

 

Though both were approached, Disney and Marvel refused to comment on the recent speculations about the Falcon and Winter Soldier Limited series. The stars of Falcon and Winter soldier, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan (who worked as co-producer for Empire before) both have impressed the audience in different Marvel films and the recent blockbuster they both appeared in was Avengers: Infinity War.

 

The news of Falcon and Winter Soldier Limited Series appeared shortly after it was reported that Disney and Marvel had joined hands to create multiple limited series that were to be centered on key characters from the Marvel films who were significant but were not given a chance to have their own films yet. Speculations are also being made that not only Falcon and Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch and Loki might also appear in the limited series. The series will be short-lived though as it will have just six or eight episodes.

 

This news comes to offer a huge relief to Marvel fans who were disappointed after learning that Netflix has decided to cancel Luke Cage and Iron Fist, two popular Marvel shows that ran for two seasons each. So, the fans who enjoy watching Marvel TV Series can at least enjoy Falcon and Winter soldier on Disney streaming.

 

For those Marvel fans who can’t recall, Bucky Barnes first appeared in the original Captain America Film in 2011 and in the second Captain America firm, he became the Winter Soldier and a key character. Falcon on the other hand first appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
