If you are a fan of the Marvel Universe and you haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet for some reason then it’s wise for you to stay away from the latest Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer as the trailer contains major spoilers. It’s also suggested that you don’t read below as we are going to decipher the new trailer and hence reveal some spoilers.

Don’t fear the spoilers? Go on then!

In the trailer, you can see Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) mourning Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), who died during the climax of Endgame. Parker then tells the police that he is going for a vacation with his friends Michelle “MJ” Jones (Zendaya), Ned (Jacob Batalon), and Flash Thompson (Tony Revolori).

Though in this Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer, you can see Spidey avoiding the calls of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), it is quite evident in the previous Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer that Maria Hill (Cobbie Smulders) and Nick Fury will hire Parker. They will introduce him to Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal) who is shown to be from another Earth in a different dimension.

This bit in the Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer is quite interesting as it confirms that there is an MCU multiverse.

In the trailer, Fury also says that Captain Marvel and Thor aren’t available at the moment, so the responsibility of saving the earth from threats lies with Spidey only.

In the Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer, you can also see Mysterio flying through the city, Hogan trying to save Parker’s friends by telling them he works with Spidey and Spider-Man dealing with a fiery Molten Man.

Mysterio - Marvel Comics
Mysterio – Marvel Comics

In the comics, Mysterio is portrayed as the bad guy, but it seems he is not as bad in the films because Spider-Man: Far from Home sequel trailer hints that Spidey might team up with Mysterio instead of Fury.

The Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer has left many fans wanting more. Their wait won’t be too long as Far from Home will hit the theatres on July 2, which is just few weeks away.
