The Nike x Stranger Things Collab is Dropping Soon
It’s a real throwback to the cool 80’s
Ever since the release of the Stranger Things official trailer, fans have been holding their breaths to know more about the show. If you are one of those fans and you are craving for any news regarding the show then here’s some good news for you. Stranger Things makers have joined hands with Nike to create a collaboration that is an ode to the ‘80s.
This is the second biggest collaboration in the last few days. The first one was Uniqlo X KAWS, a collaboration between Uniqlo and Kaws. The fans of Stranger Things are super excited by this collaboration not only because they get their hands on some stylish shoes, but also because the shoes can make them a bit nostalgic.
The new collection inspired by Hawkins was revealed a few hours back and is an unmistakable ode to the ‘80s. The sneakers feature the Tailwind, the Cortez, and the Blazer. All of them are Nike classics that were available in the summer of 1985, where the Season 3 of Stranger Things is based. So, if you want to experience what the shoe fashion was like in 1985, you better get one of these shoes.
The entire first drop will take place on June 27 and is expected to be a crowd pleaser. Though the shoes are designed as per the fashion of 1985, they won’t look out of place in 2019. In addition to the shoes, several tees, hoodies, and other accessories will also be launched. Within a few days of the first drop, another OG pack of Stranger Things will be released that will feature sneakers in white, blue and red. Cortez, Blazer, and Tailwind would be designed to celebrate not only the Independence Day of the US but also the release of Stranger Things new season. The second drop is planned on 3rd or 4th of July.
We think it would probably be 4th of July because that’s when Stranger Things Season 3 will premiere on Netflix and take us to a spooky world where weird things are a common occurrence.
