We have the Latest PlayStation 5 Leaks for You
PlayStation Controller – Sony

Lately, Sony Interactive Entertainment came out with new patent hardware for an unknown electronic device. It’s unspecified what it is for, but it looks like a development kit for Playstation 5. With PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in the market Sony will only be interested in a successor.

The guesswork paid off; it was indeed a Playstation 5 we know for sure that it is coming. We heard from Mathew Stott, a senior artist at Codemasters, that they had one at their office. The tech dude is behind many racing game series such as Onrush, Grid, and F1. While Scott is a reliable source the information should be taken with a grain of salt.

To confirm our speculation, we got information from Mark Cerny, the chief architect on Sony’s next-generation console, it is definite that PS5 will replace PS4.

The specifications of Playstation 5 will be a bespoke 8-core AMD chipset based on third-generation Ryzen architecture, with a GPU taking the best bits of the Radeon Navi GPU family; a built-for-purpose SSD storage system; 3D audio; backward compatibility with PS4 games and PSVR hardware; 8K TV support.

8K TV support gives more detailed and much larger textures. The bespoke SSD Drive is 19 times faster than traditional SSD storage methods.

Sony’s Playstation 5 next-generation console will also offer improved cloud gaming performance and dramatically improved graphics rendering power. But the look of the console remains a mystery.

Audio will reach a new gold standard, expect something resembling the experience seen with a Dolby Atmos set-up.

Sony has also confirmed the Playstation 5’s powerful backward compatibility will let you play online with PS4 players.

The probable release date will be by mid-2020.

For gamers keep these news under your radar.

Google Stadia will be released in November 2019. It’s a streaming service with data centres across the globe, you don’t need a high-end gaming PC or console. As long as you have a fast internet connection, you could theoretically play your favourite games in any supported region in the world.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 15, 2020. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality.

Apple Arcade will be great for families and give users access to over 100 games to play across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
