The Matrix 4: The Return of Neo and Trinity

How will they bring these characters back on screen?

Get ready with your trench coats and dark shades the production of Matrix 4 will start in early 2020. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss will reprise Neo and Trinity, returnee Lana Wachowski will direct, create, and produce Matrix 4 without her sister Lilly.

The trilogy was created and directed by the sister tandem, The Matrix (1999), The Matrix: Reloaded (2003), and The Matrix: Revolutions (2003) have grossed over $1.6 billion in global ticket sales. There are rumours that Lily will be on board when the film starts rolling,

 

What tickles the mind is how the characters Neo, Trinity, and the original Morpheus, played by Laurence Fishburne will be brought back to life in the Matrix 4 world. Neo expired after his battle with Agent Smith, Trinity died when her hovercraft crashed, and Morpheus succumbed to bullet wounds from The Assassin.

Another point of interest is the replacement of the scintillating stunts and the trailblazing bullet-time which entered the books of cinema history. Also, who or what will play the part of the villain, there was peace with the machines and the humans when Neo died.

Will Matrix 4 succeed?

Warner Bros Picture Group chairman thinks so, “Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in The Matrix universe,” Emmerich said.

Consider also the star quality of Keanu with his success in sequels of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Toy Story 4 all were box office hits. This will work well for Matrix 4.
