The wait is finally over, here comes more MCU hype

Marvel Studios Acquires Fox-owned Titles

There is no dearth of Marvel fans anywhere on the planet. No matter where you go, you will probably hear about films like Spider-Man: Far from Home and how awesome it was to watch it on the big screens. The fans who live and breathe the happenings of MCU have something to be excited about. Disney’s acquisition of Fox is officially complete, and this means that all popular titles previously owned by Fox are back to Marvel Studios. The initial report came from Deadline discussing Emma Watts passing the Fox-owned Marvel titles over to the Head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, and will handle James Cameron’s Avatar movies instead.

The titles we are talking about are Deadpool, X-Men and Fantastic Four. This is a big win for the producers of Avengers: Endgame. Feige is as excited as many of the fans. He stated that “the fact that Marvel is as close as we may ever get now to having access to all of the characters is something I’ve been dreaming about for my almost 20 years at Marvel.” (Probably as close as he is going to get.)

Most of his dreams have come true as Feige has now total control over many titles earlier owned by Fox. Though MCU phase 4: movies and TV shows have no newly acquired characters, but fans are hoping for something awesome from the Marvel Studios soon. Maybe Feige will include them in the near future (Phase 5 maybe?)  Feige admitted that he is excited about those characters and bringing them into the fold so that they get the level they deserve.

If Feige sticks to his words, maybe Marvel Studios will be bigger and better with time as ex-Fox superheroes will share the screen with the current MCU superhero line-up and get massive, jaw-dropping crossovers. (How cool is that?!)

Okay, coming back to reality, some of the projects by Marvel that you can look forward to for the next few months are Black Widow, The Eternals, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in 2020. Shang-Chi, WandaVision, Legend of the Ten Rings, Loki, What If?, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Hawkeye, and Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in 2021.
