Previously we’ve seen Jenga sets, volleyballs, and pencil cases from Louis Vuitton. After dropping a range of branded accessories composed of tennis rackets, balls, yoga mats, brass dumbbells and more. French luxury fashion house Saint Laurent has now debuted a lineup of condoms.

Yves Saint Laurent recently revealed their new selection of condoms that are selling at £5 (A$10) a pop, exclusively at Rive Droite – the label’s Parisian concept store.

The exclusive condoms come in a range of on-trend fashion print wrappers to improve your style – zebra, checkered, leopard, hearts, and preservative ears, providing options for when you either want to unleash your inner animal or feel the love tonight.

To accompany the release Saint Laurent launched the campaign “The Love Affair,” which was shot by the famed photographer Juergen Teller. In the image shared by Vaccarello, Polish model Anja Rubik is seen alongside artist David Alexander Flinn.

In 2017, Alexander Wang collaborated with Trojan condoms for New York Pride, where attendees of the parade wore T-shirts with the cheeky ‘Protect Your Wang’ advice emblazoned across them. The New York designer expressed how it’s incredibly important to do anything [they] can to bring awareness to the LGBTQ community and spread a message of love.

Others noted the disappointment of expecting another fancy item from YSL but getting the condom instead. Just imagine the look on your vacation girlfriend when you say you bought her some Saint Laurent and you pull this out.

The condoms are made in Japan and feature Saint Laurent Branding on the wrapper alongside a range of patterns that you could mix and match. They’re 100% rubber normal-sized, which is unfortunate for all the fashion-forward would-be Mandingos out there.

It would appear that these condoms are not the only fashionable statement about safe sex the YSL brand is making under Anthony Vaccarello’s creative directorship.

Don’t be surprised if you see YSL condoms in music festival hook-ups. This wouldn’t be the first time the world of fashion gave practicing safe sex in an even cooler venue. The point is to watch where your eyes are trained there might be attendees who might be wearing condoms during the festival.
