Director Andy Serkis Says Venom 2 Will be Extraordinary

With the release of Spider-Man: Far from Home, people have been wondering about what will happen next. As the film marked the end of MCU phase three, all eyes are on MCU Phase 4 that will begin next year. If you are also a fiction movie buff and you want to spend your time getting entertained but phase 4 seems far away, you should know that Venom 2 is in the works and the person who is most excited for its release is none other than its Director Andy Serkis.

Venom 2 is a part of Sony’s Marvel Universe which is adjunct to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The Director of the film, Andy Serkis, spoke to reported about the project. He said it’s a fantastic franchise and he is honoured as he was asked to direct it. He also added that the story is contemporary and will probably be an extraordinary piece of cinema.

 

Though Serkis didn’t reveal any major plot details, he revealed that the script is being created by Kelly Marcel, the writer, and some inputs are also added by the star Tom Hardy. The Director of Venom 2 is already visualizing how the film will be and how the characters will be taken to another dimension (the same thing we may expect from Thor 4).

Serkis also appreciated Hardy and said that he has known the actor for years and admired him as a producer and actor. Both of them have hoped to work together for years.

Though Venom broke many box offices records by making it to the list of top 100 highest-grossing movies of all the time, the critics didn’t shower it with love. It would be interesting to see whether Venom 2 would be any better or not.
