Reports on UFO sightings are alluring to UFO enthusiasts. They are always ready to know more about the aliens but this time it has gone far more than expected. This thirst has created a new storm affecting not only the virtual but the real world too. A Facebook Account holder shared an event on June 27 named “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.” The event urges people to join the event which is meant to raid Area 51 at 3 a.m. on Sept. 20.

The Facebook page inviting for the event says “We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry,” and the account holder further stresses that “If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Let’s see them aliens.”

Associated with Naruto Uzumaki, the “Naruto run” is a way of running. This is related to the character Naruto of the Japanese anime series. In this run, the torso is tilted forward and the arms are extended out behind.

As far as Area 51 is concerned, it is the US Air Force base in Amargosa Valley, Nevada, and its existence was acknowledged only 6 years back in 2013 by the US Federal government when the CIA published some classified documents on spy planes in the 1950s.

However, unlike “Chernobyl’s Exclusion Zone”, this open training range Area 51 has been a part of unidentified flying object conspiracy. According to some rumors, the US Government secrets about aliens are held in Area 51.

There has been news confirming that the US government is researching UFOs and has spent $22 million on it as of now. Recently, even a group of US senators were said to have been briefed on UFO encounters by the US Navy.

One doesn’t know how far the news of UFO research in Area 51 is true but definitely, this has become a part of many jokes on internet bombarding it with innumerable memes. However, US Military has taken it in a serious way and has made it clear that “[Area 51] is an open training range for the U.S. Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces,”. The spokeswoman has also made it clear through The Washington Post that “The U.S. Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets.”

A post pinned on the page has tried to suppress the storming of Area 51 and it says “Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet.”

Till now, over 1.2 million people have signed up to attend the Area 51 storming event and more than 998,000 are “interested”. One needs to wait until September 20 to see what happens.
